1940s Harlequin Color Block Gown

Vintage 1940s harlequin inspired color block gown. Silhouette reminscient of  Adrian's 1940s Hollywood gowns, with strong padded shoulders and a slim hip. A gold thread and sequin appliqué perfectly accents the waist. Shirring on the shoulder yokes, V neckline. Front of the skirt is gathered a little where the blue meets the red for extra shaping through the hip. Front slit. The sleeves come to V points over the hand and close with a hidden snap.  Red crepe, probably wool and navy jacquard of a similar weight. Hidden side placket of hook & eye closures. No label. Excellent condition, clean sturdy and ready to wear. The only note are a few grey splatters at the hem of the red side of the skirt, at the side seam. I have only tried water to remove them. If you want to try something more aggressive I'll leave that up to you. Shown in photos. Hidden in the folds of the skirt when worn.
