1940s pale blue border print midi dress. The print features animals of the savannah enjoying a watering hole. It is used to great effect on the bodice and skirt. Classic notched collar, puff sleeves and shirtwaist bodice. The skirt is cut on the bias for a beautiful drape. Wide waistband of the feather print fabric completes the perfection. Back of the dress is the beautiful feather print. Fabric is soft woven rayon. Metal side zip for ease. I adore this one of a kind beauty, she's so gorgeous and special. A classic example of 1940s dressmaking by a highly skilled home seamstress.

This 1940s border print dress is in very good condition with no damage or alterations. There is subtle variation to the blue dye and faint fade lines down each side seam and sleeve of the dress. A few minor faint marks. Sturdy, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
