1950s Irene Lentz Pencil Dress

Vintage 1950s pencil dress by Irene. Fabulous figure flattering design with a scoop neckline, three quarter length sleeves and pencil skirt. Gorgeous seaming nips in the waist and creates a gentle raglan sleeve, emphasizing the hourglass silhouette. The back of the dress is a seductive surprise with a line of big buttons to the hem. Soft wool fabric in a rich cinnamon shade.  As with all Irene pieces the dress is beautifully tailored and of the highest quality. The inside of the dress is entirely hand-finished. Excellent condition. Only note a tiny repair near the hem (see photo) not visible when the dress is worn. The color is even more beautiful and subtle in person, gets a little blown out in some of the photos. Label: Irene Exclusively for Neiman Marcus Dallas.
