1950s White Scoop Neckline Top


Vintage 1950s top. Classic 50s elegance with a scoop neckline, little raglan sleeves, princess seaming and a nipped waist. The fabric is beautifully sculpted for a tied neckline that finishes in a saucy bow. Princess seaming through the waist gives strong structure and emphasizes your waist. Hip flares in a peplum style for extra hourglass appeal. Fabric is a softly textured with a grosgrain feel. Probably a rayon or cotton. Back zips entirely down to the hem for ease. The whole garment is beautifully tailored with hand-finished French seams. Label: Made in France Expressly For R.H. Macy and Co. Excellent condition. Clean fresh & ready to wear.

Flat Measurements~Shoulders 17" Chest 18" Waist 13.5" Hip 17" Length shoulder to hem 20" Armscye 9". There's another inch available in the chest due to the seaming. Shown on a US size 4 mannequin 33" chest 26" waist 34" hip.
