1960s Babydoll Peignoir Set

Vintage early 60s babydoll peignoir set. Filmy ivory nylon layers in a fun trapaeze shape. The peignoir has a ruffled lace collar, puffed lace sleeves, and a floaty voluminous silhouette. Little satin button and satin trim at the neckline. The nightdress is sheer lace through the bodice with beautiful tailoring to shape the bust. The back dips low and is accented with two little satin bows. Skirt flares wide from the narrow underbust. Beautifully tailored for a supportive but comfy fit. Seductively sheer. Label: Vanity Fair. Excellent condition, there is a scattering of small pulls in the skirt of the nightdress, which disappear against the more opaque under layer. On the inside of the peignoir there's a little damage near the hem (see photo). Presents flawlessly. Clean fresh & ready to wear. First photo shows the color most accurately. It's not as yellow as it apprears against the white mannequin.
