1970s Blue Prairie Dress Set Gunnne Sax


Vintage 1970s prairie dress set handsewn from a Gunne Sax pattern. Gorgeous blue and white calicos used to perfect effect. High ruffled neckline ties in a pretty bow. Victorian style ruffles shoulders, poet sleeves and wide double tiered ruffled hem. The blouse buttons down the front. Hidden 70s Talon zip and hook & eyes close the skirt. Side slit pockets for extra comfort. Blue satin ribbon trims the set. Our seamstress had wonderful taste in fabrics~the colors are rich and the patterns contrast beautifully. Super soft comfy cotton sturdy enough for everyday wear. Excellent condition with no flaws. Clean fresh & ready to wear. The set is like a mini capsule wardrobe~ the blouse looks great worn with jeans when you want just a little prairie.

Flat Measurements~Blouse-Shoulders 14" Chest 17" Waist 18" Length 23" Armscye 8". Skirt-Waist 12.5" Hip 19" Length 30". Mannequin measures 33" chest 26" waist 34" hip. The waistband is unfastened on the mannequin as its a little too tight.
