1970s Brown Prairie Dress Set Gunne Sax

Vintage 1970s prairie dress set handsewn from a Gunne Sax pattern. Gorgeous brown and pink calicos used to perfect effect. High ruffled neckline ties in a pretty bow. Victorian style ruffles shoulders, poet sleeves and wide double tiered ruffled hem. The blouse buttons down the front. Hidden 70s Talon zip and hook & eyes close the skirt. Our seamstress had wonderful taste in fabrics~the colors are rich and the patterns contrast beautifully. These photos don't really do her justice, colors are even richer in person. Super soft comfy cotton sturdy enough for everyday wear. Excellent condition with no flaws. Clean fresh & ready to wear. The set is like a mini capsule wardrobe~ the blouse looks great worn with jeans when you want just a little prairie.
