- Exquisite 1940s maxi coat covered in elaborate sterling silver zari embroidery
- Dagger collar, padded shoulders, fitted waist and lots of volume at the hem
- False button front with hidden hook & eye placket underneath
- Matching tie belt
- Lightweight wool fabric is pashmina soft
- Fully lined
- The silver thread tests as a high level of purity, approx sterling silver level
- Shown over a crinoline to show all of the gorgeous embroidery and volume at the hem
- There is no heavy interfacing the coat is soft and cozy, light enough to be a duster
- It has a pleasant weight from all of the embroidery

- Shown on size XS with no pinning
- Very good condition. Gentle overall wear to the fabrics. A few small mends~see last photo. A little of the yellow ink used to trace the embroidery pattern onto the fabric is still visible which is typical for this kind of work. The silver embroidery is in excellent condition with no damage. Clean and ready to wear
