- The body of the dress is double layered silk chiffon of graduated stripes

The dress is cut to create chevrons through the body and a subtle mermaid hem. The effect is a sleek contemporary take on Art Deco style

An attached cape-like back panel crosses around the body and ties in the front, creating beautiful translucent layers of stripes

The back panel is gathered to make it easy to tie, and the ends cascade in dramatic waves of silk down the front of the gown

The fine silk floats with the body and the layers of stripes create an interesting optical effect as you move
